Treble Cone is a place that holds a special place in the hearts of many New Zealand skiers. It’s known for its challenging terrain, but for me, just as memorable are the incredible views, looking out across Lake Wānaka towards the St Bathans Ranges beyond.

This painting captures one of those perfect winter ski days: crisp, clear and sunny, with the lake stretching out below and the mountains disappearing into the distance.
